The mission of Beyond the Walls is to share the love of Jesus through acts of kindness. We continue to look for ways to serve our local community.

For Love of Children - Dayton, oh.


For Love of Children, Inc. (F.L.O.C.) is a 100% volunteer agency. Their mission is to serve over 6,000 children in the greater Dayton area who are neglected, abused, in foster care, or who are in need of community resources.

One of the numerous things this organization does is provide duffel bags for the children.  So, through donations we receive, Beyond the Walls is putting together comfort bags for the children to put in their duffel bag.

F.L.O.C. has seen the need for these bags to go to the Artemis Center in Dayton. This is a domestic violence shelter in which several children live.

Items needed for these bags are:

Amazon cards to purchase special bears and journals
Pens 
Socks
Blanket - (Baby blanket size through throw size)
Toothbrush & Toothpaste
Lotions - (Including baby lotion)

Baby Wipes

Deodorant

We are providing 40 bags a month to F.L.O.C.
Donations can be dropped off at the church on Sunday or M-F 9am-3pm. You may also email becky@germantownfcog.org if you are unable to bring your donation to the church.

Community Pregnancy center - Middletown, Oh.

Mission:

"Share the gospel of Jesus Christ, uphold the sanctity of human life, promote sexual purity for all, and care for those hurt by abortion."


Beyond the Walls volunteer in their Care Closet every 2nd Thursday of the month from 10-12 to sort baby clothes.  Let us know if you are interested in helping.

More extensive training is available if you would like to learn how to mentor and counsel the clients on a one on one basis. Trainings are in the Spring and Fall.
